As part of that exhibit, we shared the work of local disabled artist, A.H. Lawver, in a series entitled ‘Body of Work’. We’d love to introduce you to the artist and the pieces on display at the event.

The pattern of our life reflects the many facets of those challenges faced, those obstacles overcome; disability, illness, trauma, and triumph. To truly live, it’s in the overcoming amidst the struggle when you find your truest self.

Created using over 50 original monoprints with acrylics, ink, pencil & textural mediums, built atop recycled materials, including paper & a repurposed jar.
