Since I was a fellow with the Halcyon Incubator in 2014, I’ve continued to offer my assistance to subsequent cohorts. In November of 2020, one of their Opportunity Intensive Fellows, Amir Browder, had an unexpected pitch opportunity arise for the very next day. Unfortunately he had no pitch deck to speak of. At all.
They came to me & asked for my help. Starting with only a script, a logo, and his Instagram feed, I pulled together this presentation deck in 3.5 hours.
I was honored to be able to help, as I really believe in what Amir is achieving. Homme is a boutique art gallery, opening doors & breaking down barriers for underserved artists, as well as bringing the arts to minority communities here in Washington, DC.
Amir was kind enough to allow me to share this deck with all of you. Naturally, given the sensitive nature of pitch decks, I’ve removed the business plan & proprietary details. Sadly you won’t be able to hear Amir’s wonderful voice narrating this deck as it was originally intended, but I hope it will at least give you a sense of my visual design work.
